Discopixels.com is an online canvas building website.
Visitors can Upload their own image, edit it using the online Canvas Builder and then purchase their personally crafted canvas online. The edited canvas is sent to the website owner Marcus, who can then print the customers image onto high quality canvas, matching the colours, sizes etc that the customer chose while building their canvas online.
The Canvas Building application was not created in house. I out sourced this to a man named Kaushik in India – a freelance programmer – who designed and coded the Canvas Builder application. With the application finished I was then able to integrate it into the website and create an e-commerce site with a twist!
Discopixels.com is my most challenging project to date but one that was great fun and a pleasure to have worked on.
I created everything on the site (besides the Canvas Builder) including the logo, flash animations, 3D canvas images and all graphic work.
