Ting.it – Just a bit of fun really!
The world is full of really long, ugly URL’s (web addresses) and the idea behind Ting.it is to take those long URL’s and make them short.
It’s been done before and there’s loads around but I fancied giving URL shortening a try and the result is Ting.it!
Try it out – Maybe go on Youtube and copy the URL – You’ll notice it’s really UGLY with loads of random letters and stuff. Go to Ting.it and PASTE it in the box. Then click TING IT.
As if by magic Ting.it will then make your long ugly URL into a nice short one ready to send to friends and colleagues or post on Twitter and Facebook!
Really simple … but from a marketing point of view it’s great as lots of people use Ting.it links and so I get lots of people visiting the site!
